My first long distance client
So I had this crazy ride the other day. Dispatcher lets me know there is a ride for me but he said in sounded sketchy. Eventually word comes back the CC is denied. 1 hour later another call comes in, same people, different card. This time its good says the dispatcher. It’s 7 pm, this is a 4,5 drive one way. So I’m driving this guy and his phone goes off. It’s his g/f trying to figure out where the hell he is going overnight. He says he is going to a studio making beats with his friends. He really is going to see this female in the opposite direction. Eventually his mom calls, his sister, his g/f again, his supposed music friends and they are all wondering what the hell he is doing. He is now having second thoughts. He asks me what I would do, but I try not to have him turn me around. As we get closer, this female calls, saying that her mom showed up and now she wants to meet at a hotel. He is really “not feeling this” at all. Meanwhile I need a signature from the person who’s credit card we used, and she claims that that was her cousin who would be there. We get to the address, I knock, these people have no clue wtf is going on or who any of these people are. Great! I call dispatcher, my client calls this female. Now her cousin is on the other side of the state and she won’t meet up with me for the signature. Now my client is signing her name on the contract, he tries to go to this hotel, but there is no reservation in his name like she said. He is like: “Uh man, I ain’t feeling this, lets go home.” No no, not so quickly, this was a one way my man. He is trying to offer me all this money he doesn’t have, talking about hitching a ride back. Then my manager calls me because he got wirried after hearing this story from the dispatcher. He says more then likely the CC is stolen and these people just trying to get a free ride out of the deal. He tells me to tell the guy, have a nice day but here is your shit, and good luck. To make it better, this dude who is cheating on his g/f is now 4,5 hours away in no man’s land, a dead cellphone, no money and a family that is expecting him back a few hours later. Hey, you should always tip the limo driver after a 4,5 hour trip before you ask favors. Limo driver out!!!

WOW, this is a good dumbass story! I would not have been so nice.
4,5 hours? That’s long enough to drive to Ohio.
